Guideline for authors

The journal PANORAMA ECONOMICO of Instituto Politécnico Nacional provices guidelines for authors: submissions must be original and unpublished, in acadamic format with complete references. Submissions review with peer revierw method. Submissions can be in Spanish and English with bilingual abstracts. Publication is open access and require estrict compliencec of ethical norms (COPE) and originality.

Guidelines for authors of Panorama Economico

Guidelines of submissions: Submissions must be original, unpublished and no be in process in other journal.

Format: Manuscrits must be uploaded in academic style, with clear structure (introduction, methodology, results, discussions and conclusions), furthermore include full references in APA 7th edition.

Extension: Generally between 20 and 30 pages, depending on type of manuscript (research paper, essay or review).

Languages: Spanish and English, with abstract in both languages.

Open access: Accepted articles will be published in an digital open access, without chages for authors or readers.

Please, consider separate your submission in four parts.

First, full manuscript, with no names, affiliation, water mark, comments, email or other information that expose identification of authors. First page must have:

  • Title in Spanish and English
  • Abstracti Spanish and English
  • Keywords in Spanish and Englis
  • Jel classification in Spanish and English

Second, cover letter containing for each author named: current affiliation, email (institutional preferred), country, ORCID.

Name: full name witout acronyms or abbreviations.

Affiliation and email: It is mandatory for all authors.

Third one, file containing audiovisual materials. If manuscript is approveed tihis material will be used in layout. We prefer an Excel file but authors can upluad Power Point, Corel Draw or JPG with at least 300pp.

Finally, fourth, a cover letter with heredity rigths (carta de cesión de derechos) in Spanish.

It is important point out that manuscript, cover letter with authors identification and heredity rights are mandatory.
