Steps and time in review

  1. Editorial reception and initial review (1 to 4 weeks)
    • Editor and commtte editors check: 
      • Relation to journal topics
      • Guidelines (format, extension, citations)
      • Originality (checking similarity with iThenticate / Turnitin)
    • Possibles situations
      • Go to pre review
      • Rejected
  2. Selecting experts for peer review (1 to 3 weeks)
    • Editor and committee editorial do:
      • Looking for two or tree experts in the topic.
      • Invitation is send to experts, could be negative answers from experts for review.
  3. Peer review process (4 to 8 weeks)
    • Peer revier, authors and experts do not know each other.
  4. Intial editorial desition (1 to 3 weeks after reviews are made)
    • Editor or committee do: 
      • After review comments and suggestions from experts, editorial decision are made.
      • Separate points of view could be done so editor solve this.
  5. Revision round (if is required)
    • Minor case suggestions situation (author time: 2 to 4 weeks/ review: 2 to 3 weeks)
    • Major case suggestions situatation(author time: 4 to 8 weeks / review: 2 to 4 weeks)
    • Review round process:
      • Author solve each pointo to experts.
      • Manuscript could go back to experts or only to the editor.
  6. Aceptted (1 to 2 weeks)
    • Editor confirm paper aceptation.
