About the Journal
PANORAMA ECONOMICO is a scientific journal biannually published which objective is to publish results of research work in the area of economics and related subjects with a rigorous theoretical and/or practical content. It has its headquarters in the Superior School of Economy of the National Polytechnic Institute. Founded in 2005 by a group of professors from the same institution. PANORAMA ECONOMICO has the purpose to become a reference for consultation in national and international spheres. PANORAMA ECONOMICO has support from prestigious researchers from Mexico and different universities abroad, which are part of the editorial board and reflect plurality in visions about the world economy.

PANORAMA ECONOMICO is a scientific journal biannually published, open access with no charges or cost for edit, publish, read, download or share scientific submissions. In addition, PANORAMA ECONOMICO aims to contribute in Economics areas.
Submissions received are reviewed by peer revier method, in order to ensuring authenticity in the submissions Ithenticate / Turnitin is used by the editorial team.

Peer review process
Submit a paper does not imply an obligation of publish them.
Papers submitted, in a first step, will be selected by editorial committe. If the paper is deemed suitable for the journal, in the next step, go to peer review process, in other words, go to review by two experts in the topic whso must review and give their approval ofr publication. It is possible to se more about peer review process.
After reviewer's evaluation, editorial decision might be:
- Accept the paper
- Accept the paper with minor modifications/suggestions
- Acceptel the paper with major modifications/suggestions
- Reject the papaer
In all cases, corresponding author would to receive a email with their modifications/suggestions or reject comments in an annonimate way. Under any circunstances the decision will be modified. After the paper approbed by two reviewers, paper may be subject to style and form corrections.
Publication will be subject to editorial polycies and the journal reserves the rigth to modify according to this.
Open access policy
Content of PANORAMA ECONOMICO is no commercial and open access, this implies that no charges by review, edition, publication, read and download are made. PANORAMA ECONOMICO reject the bussiness model of Article Proceesing Charge (APC).
All charges for edition, review, web support, administration and publication are borne by editorial commite.
